Dr. Jon Anderson

Chiropractor
My first experience with chiropractic occurred while I was in high school in South Bend, Indiana. My father suffered from debilitating migraines for years. He began seeing a local chiropractor who was able to help him manage those migraines. Eventually, my father’s headaches occurred less often and were not as intense. This doctor also helped my mother to eliminate reoccurring inner ear problems which created bouts of dizziness.

Our chiropractor educated my father on using chiropractic treatment to better improve sports performance as well. My father was a competitive squash and racquetball player. I was a serious high school baseball player striving to play college baseball. Chiropractic helped us both stay active and to prevent injury. As a catcher in college baseball, I caught multiple games per week. My body was under a lot of stress, and it was during this time that I did incur a few injuries. My chiropractor helped me get back on the field faster and helped me stay on the field. At this point is when I began thinking about chiropractic as a career choice.

I moved on to play AA Independent baseball in the Northern League for a team in New York. Following my baseball career, I decided to enroll at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where I earned a B.S. Degree in Human Biology and then went on to receive my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003. Since graduation, I have done many postgraduate classes specializing in sports chiropractic. This entails managing and treating different athletic injuries as well as the overuse and repetitive stress injuries that affect many people in the workplace today.

Out of the office I enjoy spending time with my wife and our son Ryker as well as continue too stay active with weightlifting and other fitness activities.

Dr. Whitney Anderson

Chiropractor
Growing up in rural southeast Colorado, I felt privileged to have the influence of my uncle, a chiropractor. I was always intrigued by what he did. As an active child and throughout my high school athletic career, he kept me and my siblings on the go. After undergraduate school, I followed my older brother to Logan Chiropractic College, in St. Louis, Missouri where I earned a B.S. Degree in Human Biology and then went on to receive my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003. The majority of my post-graduate studies have concentrated on chiropractic pediatrics and nutrition. Being able to help children through chiropractic care is a great joy of mine.

While attending school, I met Dr. Jon and we were married shortly after graduating. Following a brief time in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Jon and I settled in Syracuse, Kansas where we had our son, Ryker, who is now 4. We operated the Syracuse Chiropractic Clinic with two satellite clinics in neighboring towns for eight years. In 2013 we made the decision to move to Leander, Texas and we are so excited to be here. Both Dr. Jon and I look forward to becoming part of your healthcare team and family!
